Baladjie Rock is located in the shire of Westonia and is a popular place for camping, picnics and for bush walking.

The reserve is located on the Koorda-Bullfinch road and is 42km north of Westonia.

There are no facilities at the rock besides a toilet so you need to have everything with you when you visit.

Lake Baladjie is located next to the rock and climbing the rock gives a spectacular view over the lake and surrounding bush.

The lake is seasonal and only contains water after good rains.

There are many different places to camp near the rock with the main area being next to the toilet as you approach the rock via the access road.

A secondary campsite is around the far side of the rock where you will find a large open space next to a rather spectacular rock formation where a section of the rock has broken away.

Pushing on along the tracks here will bring you to many small secluded campsites.

Campfires are usually allowed outside of fire ban season but keep an eye open for signs as fire bans can be imposed at any time.

Pets are not permitted at the rock and aerial baiting takes place so it is not worth the risk of trying to sneak them in.

During dry weather the access track is suitable for all types of vehicles but it may be inaccessible after rains.

This is a free campsite but there is no rubbish collection. Please take all your rubbish with you when you leave and dispose of it properly.

These sites only remain available for us to use as long as we respect and look after them.

There are a number of different tracks that you can explore near the rock and the lake.
